The Hungary Grand Prix is a favourite amongst fans, as it has provided many memorable moments of racing. Damon Hill, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button all recorded their first Grand Prix victories at the Hungaroring, with each going on to become a Formula 1 World Champion.
In 2001, Michael Schumacher levelled Alain Prost’s record of Grand Prix wins at World Championships in the same race. The most recent Hungarian Grand Prix also saw huge drama, with a first-lap crash taking a quarter of the field out, and Alpine's Esteban Ocon storming to a memorable maiden victory.
Stars of the future will be in action throughout the weekend, with FIA F2 and F3 are looking to demonstrate their speed and racecraft at this great circuit. The circuit is just 25 minutes from central Budapest; one of Europe’s most popular city destinations. Known for its party atmosphere and historic architecture in equal measures, the Hungarian Grand Prix experience doesn’t stop when you’re away from the track.
