Hungry for more F1 racing at the Hungaroring?

The Hungarian Grand Prix is truly a fan favourite, not least because it offers the cheapest tickets in the calendar. Typically held in July, one of Europe’s most popular races is all but guaranteed to sell out.

    [Why Go]

    Celebrate 75 years of Formula 1 | 1950 - 2025

The world’s premier single seater racing series turns 75 in 2025. This momentous milestone is set to be celebrated at every round of the 2025 season, from Melbourne in March all the way to the curtain closing finale at Abu Dhabi in December.

Across the 38-week season, each Grand Prix will embrace the rich history of the sport, and the way it's captured the hearts of motorsport fans all over the globe. With 2024 concluding with one the most competitive fields seen in recent memory, and all teams focusing on the all-new regulations for 2026, 2025 will not only be a celebration, but potentially one of the all-time closest title battles.

If you haven't already, sign up to the Motorsport Tickets mailing list to get more information about F1’s 75th birthday celebrations as it drops.

WHY GO TO THE F1 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX?

The Hungaroring is a historic track with fast corners that favour fearless driving and audacious overtaking. This track requires extraordinary precision and speed to master.

Maintaining its place in the calendar since 1986, every world champion since the inaugural race has won a race at the Hungaroring, except Alain Prost and Nico Rosberg. That includes Max Verstappen, who won an epic Grand Prix in 2022. In case you’d forgotten, the Dutchman went from 10th on the grid - took a spin! - and still somehow managed to claim a dramatic victory. The 2023 race was a much simpler victory for Verstappen, but saw Lando Norris finish second on the podium.

In 2024, the Norris finished second once more, but this time behind his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. The Aussie claimed his first ever Grand Prix victory in race which saw tempers flare between Verstappen and his Red Bull colleagues.

      Visit Budapest

The circuit is just 25 minutes from central Budapest; one of Europe’s most popular city destinations. Known for its vibrant and yet affordable nightlife and restaurants, as well as historic architecture, the Hungarian Grand Prix experience offers so much more than the on-track action track.

For those travelling to the race, it is also one of the most wallet-friendly races you can attend. Budget airlines regularly fly into the Hungarian capital, which is renowned as one of the cheapest cities to visit in Europe.

Grandstand and General Admission tickets for the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix are now on sale. This event is highly likely to sell out, so make sure you’re not among the high number of fans who miss out every year!
