The Qatar MotoGP race moves to a new calendar slot for 2023 when the popular night race becomes the series' penultimate round. It remains MotoGP’s only night race, and so the only chance to see the bikes sparkle under the lights.

The looping circuit offers bikes numerous overtaking opportunities providing the perfect introduction for the season’s new machines. It’s also a chance for MotoGP’s main contenders to throw down the gauntlet for the coming season, and for the rookies to impress from race one.
