GETTING TO THE CIRCUIT
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The legendary Silverstone Circuit is located north of London and south of Birmingham. Like Austria, this Grand Prix sees a lot of fans choosing to camp due to the rural setting. However, Milton Keynes and Northampton offer possible accommodation options.
Train
The closest train station to the circuit is Banbury, but with busses linking them to the circuit, it is recommended to take the train to Milton Keynes or Northampton on race days. Regular trains run to these two stations, and Stagecoach provide services to the Grand Prix from the trains stations.
Trains are regular from London's Euston Station and take around 30 minutes to Milton Keynes and an hour to Northampton.
Bus
The Stagecoach services from Milton Keynes train station (routes 83, MK1 and X91) and Northampton train station (routes N1, 87 and 88) run regularly on race weekend. A three-day pass costs around £40.
Many of the UK's major cities are linked directly to the Grand Prix by the Megabus and National Express coach services.
Follow the links above to book tickets in advance from cities including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford, Sheffield and Leeds.
BY CAR
Parking is available at Silverstone but must be booked in advance. Check out the Silverstone parking page here. Motorbikes may park free of charge.
There is also a Park&Ride option, which is cheaper and can be booked through the same link (above), where a free shuttle service will take you to the circuit.
