Bahrain again plays host to the public F1 pre-season testing ahead of the 2026 season

Starting with this second test, see the cars of the 2026 season break cover in Bahrain!

WHY GO TO F1 PRE-SEASON TESTING?

As soon as the festive break is over, the eyes of the world fall straight back on the new Formula 1 season. First stop: Bahrain for the first glimpse at the new cars in Pre-Season Testing!

This year's new regulations means there are three pre-season testing events in 2026. The first in Barcelona is a closed doors private event. But two then follow in Bahrain on back-to-back weeks starting with this second test.

This will be first opportunity to see the cars break cover after the engineers have been hard at work during the winter months. Who has made the most of the break? Which rookies (or rookie) look sharp in the new machines? And above all, who looks capable of claiming the F1 championship?

New team Cadillac, featuring some familiar faces, will be keen to impress on their first public test on a Formula 1 track, while seven-time world champ Lewis Hamilton will be desperate to build on a disappointing first season with Ferrari.

The grid's only rookie Arvid Lindblad will be in the spotlight behind the wheel of one of the Racing Bulls. The 18-year old will be the fifth Brit on the grid!

A whopping 11 cars and 22 drivers will be tussling for position on the crowded grid and Testing is the first chance to see them battle. Don't miss the cheapest opportunity on the calendar to see Formula 1 cars in the flesh!
