Spaniard Jorge Martin ended Francesco Bagnaia's Verstappen-esque domination with Ducati in the very final round of the 2024 MotoGP season in Barcelona. The Italian had won the previous two championships but an historic performance of patience and persistence saw Martin clinch the title, as his friend Aleix Esparagó bowed out of MotoGP.

Multiple world champion Marc Marquez will continue at Ducati-powered Gresini Racing alongside Bagnaia. Both riders will be desperate to return to the top of Motorcycle racing in the 2025 season - which will make for excellent racing for the fans to enjoy.

MotoGP weekends will also feature sprint races that first appeared on the calendar in 2023. MotoGP weekends in 2025 will provide plenty of action: the main championship sees two Friday practice sessions, Saturday’s final practice and qualifying session, and the new sprint race, before the big race on Sunday. The stars of tomorrow will race alongside the main championship, as junior series Moto2, Moto3 and the all-electric MotoE will be in action at different rounds throughout the season.
