2026 NOW ON SALE!
Rally Estonia returns for its sixth WRC outing
WHY GO?
Apart from a one-year absence in 2024, Estonia has been an ever-present on the WRC calendar since its introduction. The rally will provide the ninth round of the WRC championship in 2026, and it will be the sixth time in history that the rally is run in Estonia, with 2020 being the first edition.
However, it is not the only time that Estonia has had an official rally. 2010 was the first year for Rally Estonia, but only as a rally for the local Estonian championship, and this continued until 2013. From 2014 to 2016 Rally Estonia came to form part of the European Rally Championship.
Then, from 2017 to 2019 it came back as an official rally of the local Estonian championship. The Estonian National Museum in Tartu will be the headquarters of the rally, where the Service Park and podium will also be located.
The rally stages can be described as very fast and flowing technical roads where the drivers will encounter numerous jumps and crests. Combine this with high-speed and there is no room for error.
And as a curiosity, some roads in Estonia are usually used by manufacturers as a test for Rally Finland, taking into consideration the similarity between Finnish and Estonian roads.
